  Stiff neck

The neck supports the head, which weighs about 6 kg as a bowling ball, so if you keep the same posture for a long time, the muscles of the neck and shoulders will become stiff, blood circulation will deteriorate, and neck stiffness and stiffness will occur. It causes pain. In addition to pain, the neck is an important organ that connects the body to the nerves and blood vessels of the brain, so the burden on that part also affects the autonomic nerves and causes various symptoms. If you continue to lean forward for a long period of desk work, the gently curved neck bone (cervical spine) may become a "straight neck" that extends straight forward. Since the neck and shoulder muscles are connected, stiff shoulders and stiff neck often occur at the same time.

My neck is stiff, it hurts and I can't turn it, and my arms are numb. A painful symptom related to the neck is "cervical spine disease". The worse it gets, the more numbness and pain you get in your arms. This is "cervical spondylotic radiculopathy". The cause is that the nerves that branch off from the spinal cord are compressed by the deformation of the vertebrae. Numbness, pain, and weakness in one arm suddenly occur.

The neck is also an important part that connects the body and the brain, where nerves are concentrated. Symptoms such as dullness, dizziness, palpitation, burning, insomnia, tinnitus, irritability, depression, anxiety, and depression are evidence of stress-induced depression. It is said that many people who become "depressed" have stiffness in their necks, and improving the stiffness in their necks may eliminate the "illness" and "tiredness" that they usually feel.
